Rogue Run: KOTH
Privacy information.

King of the Hill Trailer Race

Last updated 25 October 2026 · Interim notice

About this notice.

Proxigo LLC, Maryland, United States, develops and publishes Rogue Run: KOTH. This notice describes information used for the game's private Windows playtest and related support. Our website privacy notice separately covers visits to the Proxigo website.

Online play uses Epic Account Services and Epic Online Services (EOS). Epic's handling of information is described in the Epic Games Privacy Policy.

Information used.

Epic sign-in

If you choose Epic sign-in, the game uses Epic account and EOS product-user identifiers to authenticate you and connect online participants. It requests Basic Profile access, which permits access to your display name, language preference and linked-account display names. The room roster uses player display names. Epic handles the account sign-in; KOTH does not ask you to enter your Epic password into the game.

The inspected configuration does not request friends-list, online-presence or email permissions.

Rooms and gameplay

Online services process room codes, session identifiers, room membership and connection information. The match host and connected players receive information needed to play, such as player identity/display name, vehicle choice, readiness, vehicle movement, objective progress and results.

Room codes help locate a room; they are not passwords or a guarantee of privacy. Direct-IP multiplayer also requires network addresses to establish a connection. Depending on the transport, connection information can be available to the host, networking services and peers. Do not share a room code or host address publicly if you want to limit discovery.

Preferences on your PC

The game stores audio, display and graphics preferences, vehicle and solo-match choices, and the last direct-IP join address locally. These files allow the game to restore your preferences. They are not a separate Proxigo web account.

Diagnostics and support

Development builds can write local diagnostic logs containing player names, session/connection details, computer or file-path information, gameplay events and errors. Crash files may contain additional technical or memory information. Treat these files as potentially personal before sharing them.

If you send Proxigo a bug report, email, screenshot, recording or log, we receive what you submit and your contact details. We use those materials to respond, investigate faults and improve the playtest. Please remove unrelated personal information and never send passwords, sign-in codes or access tokens.

The Windows EOS Multiplayer v03 package inspected for this notice does not include Unreal's Crash Report Client, and no custom Proxigo crash-upload endpoint was found in the inspected project code/configuration. That supports treating its crash files as local diagnostics rather than a configured automatic Proxigo crash-upload service. Epic online-service processing remains separate, and Windows may apply its own error-reporting settings. Other builds must be checked separately.

Who receives information.

Proxigo personnel review the feedback you send us. Epic operates the authentication and online services, and other match participants receive the gameplay information described above. Email and storage providers also process materials as part of delivering those services.

Proxigo personnel handle support submissions within Proxigo-controlled accounts; email and storage services still process those materials to deliver their services. Do not submit another person's personal information without permission.

Retention and deletion.

Proxigo has adopted a retention target for private-playtest feedback, correspondence, screenshots, recordings and diagnostic files: deletion within 90 days after the relevant playtest ends. Necessary material for an ongoing issue may be retained longer, with a recorded reason and monthly review by the Proxigo project owner; excepted material is to be deleted within 30 days after the issue is resolved.

Rollout status: the inventory of existing copies, playtest end dates and backup/email deletion arrangements is still being put in place. We are not representing that all existing records have already been brought under a verified deletion schedule. Contact us about a specific retained submission or deletion request.

This target concerns copies held by Proxigo. It does not control Epic's independently retained service records, other participants' copies or files on your own PC. Local preferences remain until removed/reset; uninstalling may leave saved files behind.

Your choices.

  • Epic sign-in is used for EOS online rooms; the existing solo mode does not require Epic sign-in.
  • You can leave a room, stop playing online and manage KOTH's account access in your Epic account settings. Revoking access can prevent further online play and does not itself erase records already held.
  • You can choose whether to send support files. Review and redact them first.
  • You can contact Proxigo to request access to, correction of or deletion of information we hold about you. We may need proportionate information to verify the request. Applicable law determines the rights and exceptions that apply; we cannot delete records controlled by Epic or other players.

Online providers may process information outside your country. Epic's policy explains its practices. This interim page does not specify all Proxigo storage locations or international-transfer arrangements. Contact Proxigo before submitting information if those details matter to your participation; this section will be updated as the playtest arrangements are finalized.

Children and parental permission.

KOTH is being developed with an all-ages audience in mind. The current game does not yet have an operational KOTH-specific process for verified parental permission. Proxigo is assessing Epic Kids Web Services and the protections needed for younger participants.

Epic may impose its own younger-account restrictions. Successful Epic sign-in does not by itself establish that every aspect of Proxigo's multiplayer, diagnostic and support handling is covered by parental permission.

This page is not a parental-consent form or authorization for child participation. Parents or guardians should contact proxigollc@gmail.com before permitting a younger child to participate or submitting a child's personal information. Contacting us alone does not authorize participation. Please do not send children's identity documents, passwords, exact birth dates, or identifying recordings to establish permission.

A further notice will explain the parental-permission process once it is established and tested. This interim information does not claim that such a process is already in place.

Questions or requests.

Contact Proxigo LLC, Maryland, United States, at proxigollc@gmail.com with the subject “KOTH privacy request.” Do not include your password or authentication codes.

If this notice changes, we will update its date. Material changes affecting the current playtest should be communicated to participating testers.
